Welcome to the Kidz@First official website! Here, you can keep track of upcoming events and get all the details for those events on this page and on the calendar below.

To find up-to-date information about Sunday School for children ages 6 months through 1st grade go to the 'Clark Kidz' tab. For Sunday school and Wednesday evening information for 2nd through 6th graders go to the 'Rotation' tab.

We have pictures from Summer Day Camp 2007, Vacation Bible School 2007, and Trunk or Treat 2007 under the 'Events and Pictures' tab to the left. We will soon have pictures from the Tweenagers at the Luminate concert and the Easter Egg Hunt as well.

You can also find all the information you need about the Clark Child Development Center's weekday child care program here. There is information about curriculum, hours, and rates as well as contact information. To add your child to the waiting list for the Clark Child Development Center, please submit the form that is on the page. All of this can be found under the 'CCDC Weekday Program' tab.
 
  A Night in Bethlehem
   


A Night in Bethlehem is a Christmas event for the whole family that will bring Bethlehem alive during the miraculous time of Jesus’ birth.  You will enter the gates of Bethlehem to hear the story of Jesus’ birth, nibble on treats from a Jewish home, visit Bethlehem shops to create a toy, musical instrument, bake bread, and other activities.  Most of all it is a time where families can come together and experience Jesus’ love. 
 

When:       December 14, 2008 

Time:        3:00pm – 5:00pm
Where:     FUMC Cabe Center Front Entrance  

In order to prepare for this event we need to know how many to expect.  Please take a few minutes to register your family below or sign up in the Welcome Center or Clark Center by Dec. 8.   


Also, we are in need of disciples to help prepare the Bethlehem village.  You can help by setting up one of the shops or working during the event as a shopkeeper.  If you are interested in becoming involved with a Night in Bethlehem please contact Cheryl @ 870-772-6931.

Children's Brick Fundraiser:
PAVING THE WAY FOR OUR CHILDREN

Orders are being taken for personalized bricks to be placed in the commemorative sidewalk. There are approximately 2 inserts left to fill. We have already filled four inserts in the sidewalk between the Family Life Center and the Clark Child Development Center. Come by and see!

What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the life of a friend or family member. By purchasing a personalised brick, you can leave a lasting impression, and pave the way for future generations of children who call First United Methodist Church home. Don't miss this opportunity that will be enjoyed for years to come!

Each 4x8 brick is $50.00 (3rd row of print is an additional $5)
Your brick qualifies as a tax-deductible donation.

Be sure to check the spelling of any of the items you want printed on the brick. They will be printed as you have specified.

We would like to thank everyone who has purchased a brick over the years. This has been a wonderful fundraiser for our Children's Ministry and has helped to meet the additional needs of this Ministry.
